Trainee pilots protest in Patna
Patna, July 1 (ANI): Hundreds of trainee pilots gathered outside the Bihar Flying Club on Wednesday and raised slogans, against not being properly trained in flying.
The students alleged internal politics was responsible for the disorder.
"We are protesting because despite having five aircraft we are not getting a chance to fly them and for the last six months our aircraft are grounded," said Priya Sinhal, a trainee pilot.
"We come here everyday but fly for 5-10 days every month and then it stops. There is so much of politics going on and every one is bent on ruining our future," Sinhal added.
The trainee pilots are expected to fly at least 400 hours to be eligible to appear for the examinations, which would be held from December 2009. (ANI)
