Berlusconi calls call girl's sex claims "coordinated mission to malign him"
London, June 25 (ANI): Silvio Berlusconi has blasted a call girl who claims she was paid to attend one of his parties, accusing her of being part of a coordinated "mission" to compromise his integrity.
Responding to the claims that he slept with escort Patrizia D'Addario at a party at his Rome mansion in November, he said: "Someone gave a very precise and extremely well paid mission to this Miss D'Addario."
The Italian Prime Minister gave the response in an interview with magazine, Chi, reports The Telegraph.
The 72-year-old, however, did not elaborate on who was behind the alleged conspiracy, which has gripped Italy for the last week.
After the tycoon's comments emerged, D'Addario, 42, immediately defended herself from the charge.
"If Mr Berlusconi has the slightest proof backing his claims he must present them to legal authorities," she said.
"If this is not the case, he should not be making such claims," she added. (ANI)
