Burrell 'plans to appear in documentary to clear his name'
London, June 23 (ANI): Disgraced royal butler Paul Burrell is planning to star in a documentary in order to clear his name.
Burrell, Princess Diana's former servant, has been criticized for cynically cashing in on her name.
Now, he's trying to build up his reputation by wanting to star in a "one-off TV special", where he will attempt to tell "his side of the story".
Insiders say the programme is likely to be made in the US, where Burrell is based.
"Paul feels his side of the story hasn't been properly heard. This could be the best way of getting his side across," the Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.
"He took a lot of flak after the C4 programme. This way he gets to speak on his own terms without someone trying to put words into his mouth," the source added.
"It's hoped this new programme could be aired both in the US and the UK as well as on DVD," the source further said. (ANI)
