Mumbai: Passenger held for molesting air hostess

Mumbai, Jun 4: A passenger on board an Emirates flight was arrested on Thursday, Jun 4 for allegedly molesting an air hostess. The 46-year-old passenger, identified as Harun Salaam was arrested upon his arrival at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport.

He hails from Jalna district of Maharashtra and works in Dubai. "On board the Mumbai-bound Emirates flight from Dubai, he allegedly molested and behaved indecently with the victim while she was serving him food," police said.

The flight, EK 500 flight, took off from Dubai at 10.30 pm on Wednesday, Jun 3 and landed at the airport at 3 am. Police said, "The air hostess then brought Salaam's behaviour to the crew's notice. He was allegedly in a drunken state." Following the complaint of the air hostess Police arrested the accused.
