21 die in a road mishap in Gujarat

Radhanpur (Gujarat), May 18 (ANI): Around 21 persons including women and children succumbed to injuries when the truck in which they were travelling collided with a cargo trailer near Radhanpur in Patan district of Gujarat on Sunday.

The truck was carrying around 55 labourers and reportedly they were bound for Uttar Pradesh.

The dead included six women and five children. Twenty persons died on the spot while one breathed his last at the hospital.

"At least 20 people have died and 31 were injured. Injured are being treated in hospital," said AK Patel, Inspector of Police, Radhanpur, Patan district, Gujarat. (ANI)
