Meet the 22-month-old baby girl who can recite 2,000 characters

New Delhi, May 9 (ANI): A 22-month-old Chinese baby girl from Shijiazhuang, Hebei province has memorized over 2,000 Chinese characters, with the help of her mother's encouragement.

The mother, surnamed Dou, gave the gifted girl some cards with characters when she was just 5 months old, and to her incredulity, the tot begun recognizing the characters, reports the China Daily.

The girl learnt to recognize the characters before she even turned 1 year old.

Since then her mother has been providing her books.

The 22-month old can also form simple sentences with the words she has learnt. (ANI)
