Girlfriend 'severs Brazilian man's penis' over rape claims

Melbourne, Apr 28 (ANI): A Brazilian man has had his penis severed by his girlfriend who accuses him of raping her daughter.

As per police officer Fabio Gaudencio, Isaias Saturnino, 42, was sleeping at his home in northeastern Brazil when his girlfriend Maria da Silva used a kitchen knife to cut off his penis.

Saturnino, who had to undergo reconstructive surgery, is reported to be in a good condition as of April 27, but is expected to stay at least two months in hospital for observation, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Gaudencio says Silva's teenaged daughter accused Saturnino of raping her starting at age seven.

After the incident, Silva fled and could not be located, and Gaudencio said that she is expected to voluntarily turn herself in. (ANI)
