2k pounds crystal-studded 'bling-kini' on sale at Selfridges
London, April 16 (ANI): Selfridges has launched the sale of a 2,000-pound bikini, which is encrusted with more than 5,000 brightly coloured Swarovski Austrian crystals.Dubbed the 'bling-kini', the lavish swimming costume rings in at an eye-watering 100 pounds per square centimetre.
The skimpy two piece ties at the neck and is joined from the bust to its base by beaded gold rope.
The crystal-coated 'Anita' outfit has been designed by Pistol Panties - a label favoured by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Anticipating huge demand, Selfridges has already set up a waiting list.
"Swimwear is summer's ultimate style statement. With all the right ingredients and adequate holding-in-pushing-up power a bikini can become a woman's best friend. Whether destined for St Tropez or South End, I hope 'Anita' will provide our customers with the ultimate poser appeal this summer," the Telegraph quoted Helen Attwood, Selfridges' Swimwear Buyer, as saying.
