Lalu held, released on bail

Garwah (Jharkhand), Apr 14 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and Union Minister Lalu Prasad on Tuesday arrested for allegedly landing his helicopter at the venue of an election meeting, instead of a helipad last week.

He, however, released on bail soon after.

On April 7, Lalu has landed his helicopter on a school compound.

On the same day, the Garwah District administration had lodged an First Information Report (FIR) against Prasad.

The Election Commission (EC) had served a notice to Prasad for violating the Model Code of Conduct. (ANI)
