Jaspal Bhatti hopes to become Prime Minister
Mumbai, Apr 10 (ANI): Famous comedian Jaspal Bhatti along with other noted comedians including Johnny Lever campaigned for his "Recession Party" by singing a spoof of a Bollywood song especially made for his party.
Bhatti would be 'contesting' from his native place Chandigarh on the ticket of "Recession Party", which was recently launched.
Banking on votes of fools, Bhatti said he would remain the prime ministerial candidate even if party enters into any alliances.
"I have clearly put forth my demands. Even we enter in any kind of alliance with anyone, I will remain the prime ministerial candidate," said Bhatti.
Meanwhile, TV star Shekhar Suman, a candidate of Congress party from Patna Saheb constituency, has said that elections is a fight for principles and not personalities.
"In this war, there is no brother, no friend, no relationship and no equation with anyone. It is a fight for principles. One has to walk on the path of party's principles, whosoever be in the opposition. It's not a fight of personalitiesm but it's the fight of one's principles," said Suman.
Suman's comments come after being fielded against a friend Shatrughan Sinha, a BJP candidate, from Patna Sahib constituency. (ANI)
