Indian found dead in Lahore jail

Lahore, Apr.10 (ANI): A 20-year-old Indian civilian has reportedly been found dead inside the Kot Lakhpat District Jail here under mysterious circumstances.

Jail officials, however, said that the man identified as Muhammad Naeem of Uttar Pradesh had died of cardiac arrest.

According to The Daily Times Naeem was caught without having a valid passport, visa, national identity card or other identification documents, and was arrested by the police.

He was sent to judicial custody by a local court. (ANI)
