Brit Prime Minister's wife rents designer clothes for big occasions

London, April 9 (ANI): Sarah Brown, wife of British Prime Minister, has turned to renting designer clothes to wear at official engagements, it has emerged.

The 45-year-old was said to have dug into her own pocket to borrow Brett Lintner and Graeme Black apparel during the recent G20 summit.

Her rentals included a jacket that she sported at an official dinner, and a 9,000-pound top worn at another event.

"Sarah thinks it's important to dress well for big State occasions, and renting her dresses makes that a bit more affordable," the Telegraph quoted her friend as saying.Brown also allegedly carried dresses from British designer Amanda Wakeley at the state banquet with the President of Mexico.

She is believed to normally wrap herself in clothes from high-street retailers such as Marks and Spencer and New Look. (ANI)
