Pak extends police remand of three Mumbai suspects by two days
Islamabad, Mar.18 (ANI): a Pakistani anti-terrorism court has extended the police remand of three Mumbai attack suspects by another two days.
Anti-terror Court judge Sakhi Mohammad Kahut remanded Lashker-e-Taiba operatives Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, Zarar Shah and Abu al-Qama to the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
They are being held in Rawalpindi's high-security Adiala Jail.
The judge also remanded Lashkar activist Hamad Amin Sadiq, described by Pakistani officials as the "main operator" behind the Mumbai attacks, to judicial custody for 14 days. He will also be held in the Adiala Jail.
The police remand extension was sought as the FIA wanted to question the four further following the receipt of the India's response to Pakistan's 30 questions. (ANI)
