Pak Govt. backtracks on claims of recovery of Indian weapons at Lahore attack site
Islamabad, Mar.4 (ANI): The Pakistan Government has denied reports suggesting that weapons recovered from the Lahore attack site were of Indian manufacture.
Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani's Advisor on Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik, has said the weapons recovered from the attack site did not bear Indian markings, as was claimed earlier.
Talking to reporters at Parliament House here, Malik said a few persons have been taken into custody and claimed that intelligence agencies have gathered sufficient information about the terrorists involved.
"A major breakthrough would be achieved in the next few days," The Daily Times quoted Malik, as saying. (ANI)
