Ousted Governor Blagojevich's six figure book deal on "dark side of politics"

New York, Mar 3 (ANI): Rod Blagojevich, the first US Governor in more than 20 years to be removed from office by impeachment, plans to "expose the dark side of politics" with a new six figure book deal.

Former Illinois Governor Blagojevich, who was removed from office on January 9 following charges of attempting to sell President Barack Obama's vacated Senate seat, signed a "six-figure" deal on Monday with Phoenix Books, an independent book publisher, his publicist Glenn Selig said.

The Daily News quoted Selig's as saying that Blagojevich "will reveal information and provide insights that will at times be embarrassing to himself as well as to others."

The book, which has a working title of "The Governor", is scheduled to release in October this year, added Selig.

A federal grand jury is examining the criminal case against Blagojevich and is expected to decide on an indictment by next month.

Blagojevich maintains his innocence. (ANI)
