FBI chief coming to Pak to grill Mumbai terror suspects
Islamabad, Feb.27 (ANI): Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) chief, Robert Mueller, will be visiting Pakistan next week to bring the investigations into the Mumbai terror attacks to conclusion.
The Pakistan Foreign Office has said that Mueller along with a FBI team will be landing in Islamabad on March 4.
Mueller is expected to quiz the six suspects arrested by the Pakistan in connection with 26/11, The Daily Times reports.
"We understand that they have helped India in their ongoing investigations and we hope they will assist us by way of providing any further information or intelligence they may have," Foreign Office spokesperson Abdul Basit said.
Basit reiterated Islamabad's demands from India to reply to its 30 queries soon so speed up the investigations, and bring normalcy in relation between the two countries.
"Pakistan is also looking forward to the restoration of peace process and dialogue between the two countries. We hope that this will be sooner rather than later," he said.(ANI)
