World's most pierced woman adds to her collection with 6,005th piercing!

London, Feb 26 (ANI): The world's most pierced woman has added more punctures to her body, bringing the grand total to 6,005.

Elaine Davidson, born in Brazil, made the Guinness World Record official in 2000 when she had a mere 462 piercings - 192 of which were in her face.

Nine years later, Davidson has thousands of piercings including more than 1,500 that she says are 'internal.'

Surprisingly, Davidson, a nurse who now lives in Edinburgh, says she doesn't like getting pierced and suffers for her art.

"I don't enjoy getting pierced, but to break the record you have to get to a high level. I wanted to break the record," the Telegraph quoted her, as saying.

"My family don't even like tattoos or piercings. But I am happy. I decided to change myself and be me," she added. (ANI)
