Washington, Feb 14 (ANI): Cancer-stricken Patrick Swayze's hit film Ghost has been named as the best love film ever.

The film came in first in a survey, carried out by retail giant HMV on Valentine's Day, followed by Dirty Dancing on the second spot.

The 1990 blockbuster starred Swayze as a spirit who communicates with his sweetheart, played by Demi Moore, through a medium.

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling's The Notebook was voted the third best love film ever, reports Contactmusic.

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's Titanic, and Julia Roberts 'Pretty Woman' wrapped up the top five. (ANI)
