I'm not trying to ape Angelina Jolie: Octuplets' mum

Washington, February 12: The woman, who recently gave birth to a set of octuplets, adding to her previous brood of six, has denied that she was trying to ape Angelina Jolie with her looks and actions.

Nadya Suleman, who conceived all 14 of her babies through in vitro fertilization, was claimed to resemble the actress for her similar long dark hair, full lips and love for a giant lot of children.

The 33-year-old rebuffed the allegations adding that she had not gone under the knife for a lip job.

"I have never even thought of Angelina Jolie, except the last time I saw a movie," Us magazine quoted her as telling NBC's Today programme.

"I think that was like years ago. This is so far away from the place I'm in right now, to think of any celebrity," she added.

Nadya launched her own Web site, featuring a photo of herself and her eight newborns, under the caption "Proud Mother of 14", along with links asking for donations.

She had delivered the octuplets on January 26 in a span of five minutes at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

It is believed to be only the second time in history that live octuplets have survived for more than a couple of hours.
