Kannada actors, Vinod Raj and Leelavathi attacked

Bangalore, Feb 7: In a shocking incident, Veteran Kannada actor, Leelavathi and her actor son, Vinod Raj have been attacked by firing when they were travelling in a car near the Upparpet area near Shantala Silks in Bangalore at 9.40 am on Saturday, Feb 7.

The bullet pierced the glass behind the car. Nobody has been hurt in the incident. There were two others travelling in the car, manager and driver.

Reacting to the incident, actor Vinod Raj said, "I'm shocked by the incident. I don't have any suspicion on anybody".

Speaking about the incident, Police commissioner, Shankar Bidari said, "Our Police team will investigate the spot. We will also have to find out whether the attack was by firing or some miscreants have pelted stones at the car. Statements of all the four; manager, driver and the two actors will be recorded. Then necessary steps will be taken."
