Real Madrid defender expects Cristiano to join club 'soon'
London, Feb. 6 (ANI): Real Madrid defender Pepe has claimed that his Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo will soon leave Manchester United to join Real Madrid. Pepe was quoted by The Mirror as saying; "It is he who must decide. He has to choose Madrid, that is for sure, and I think that the Real Madrid executives want him."
Pepe said his Portugal teammate had expressed his desire to play for Madrid.
"I hope that things go well. Cristiano already clarified his desire to come to Madrid, and it could not be, so we must hope. I expect to be able to play with Cristiano at Madrid some day and I expect it to be soon," he said.
Pepe also mentioned Ronaldo's mother Dolores and her long-standing desire to see her son play at the Bernabeu."Both his mother and all his family as well as himself have made it clear that their dream is to play for Real Madrid. It is a dream that his mother has, and a dream that he has too. Now we will see what happens," he said. (ANI)
