8 yr-old stabs his friend in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 3: A petty quarrel over owning a ball during play turned tragic. A five-year-old child was stabbed to death by his eight-year-old friend at a South Delhi on Monday, Feb 2.

Two kids fought over grabbing the ball at Tughlakabad Extension which lead to a scuffle.

In fit of rage, the elder child attacked the younger one with a knife that was lying near the place, police said.

He hit him on his neck, leading to a rupture in the vein. The child died of excessive bleeding. A FIR was registered at Govindpuri police station. The attacker was taken to a home for juveniles.
