Fog in Delhi disrupts 20 flights
New Delhi, Jan 31: Fog in Delhi has again disrupted over 20 flights at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, with visibility less than 50 meters.
The flights were delayed due to the fog which enveloped the airport early this morning, sources at the airport said.
At around 5 am, fog began to descend with general visibility less than 50 meters at 6.20 am, the runway visibility of main runway was 125 metres and that of new runway 100 metres.
On Thursday, Jan 29 over 200 flights were affected due to the fog.
During this winter, over 1200 flights have been delayed, while 150 cancelled due to fog.
