2 CPM workers shot dead in West Bengal
Kolkata, Jan 28: Reports suggest that political violence erupted near Kolkata following the brutal killing of two CPM workers. Sources suggest that the two workers were shot first and then hacked to death at Durganagar railway platform in North 24 parganas.
The deceased are identified as Sujit Dasgupta and Shambhu Dasgupta. The former died on the spit, while the later died in the hospital. Exact reason for the attack is yet to be determined. But souces suggest that is might have been triggered by dispute over real estate.
An angry mob set fire to several shots near the railway station after the incident. Police rushed to the area to control the sitution. But said that situation is still tense.
