China provides 500 mln dlrs aid to Pakistan
Islamabad, Jan. 24 (ANI): China has provided an aid of 500 million dollars to Pakistan for improving its foreign exchange reserves, The News reported.
The finance ministry sources said this amount will be repaid in one-and-a-half year and interest rate will be determined at the rate of soft loans.
This loan was announced when Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari visited china.
The amount has been provided to Pakistan under term deposit support.(ANI)
