NetApp tops list of 100 top companies hiring: Fortune
New York, Jan 23: Fortune Magazine has published 12th annual list of companies to work for and hiring. NetApp tops the list whereas Edward Jones takes the second position followed by Boston Consulting Group. The list was published on Thursday, Jan 22 online on fortune.com/bestcompanies and contained in an issue set to hit newsstands on Jan 26.
NetApp that employs 5,000 people is based in Sunnyvale, California. The company provides storage and data management services to business.
NetApp topped the list due to its "employee enthusiasm for the legendary egalitarian culture," Fortune said.
Fortune has listed 73 openings of 100 companies, the magazine said.
California has 15 companies with open positions followed by 14 in Texas and 9 in New York.
Fifteen companies made the list for the first time, including Zappos.com, DreamWorks Animation SKG, salesforce.com, T-Mobile TMOG.UL and Accenture. Google's position slid to No 4.
Rounding out the top 10 were Wegmans Food Markets, Cisco Systems, Genentech, Methodist Hospital System, Goldman Sachs and Nugget Market.
