Attack Western countries: al Qaeda to Muslims
Washington, Jan 23: An al Qaeda commander, Abu Yahia al-Libi escaped from a US prison has urged Muslims to attack Western countries and Arab countries to avenge Israel's attacks on Gaza.
The terrorist who escaped from Afghanistan's Bagram prison in 2005 has posted a video in the al Qaeda's website on Thursday, Jan 22. He urged that Muslims should attack the Arab countries and Western countries for failure to protect Israel from the three week attacks.
The authenticity of the half-hour video could not be verified, but it was posted on Web sites commonly used by al Qaeda.
Palestinian officials say the fighting in Gaza killed some 1,300 people. The fighting ended Sunday with a fragile cease-fire.
