Pakistani tribesmen to fight with army in case of Indo-Pak war
Wana (Waziristan), Jan.11 (ANI): Tribal leaders in Pakistan have said that incase India initiates a war with Pakistan then tribal people would not hesitate to strike back, The Daily Times reported.
Attending a meeting (jirga) of tribal elders from the North and South Waziristan agencies, the leaders said: "Six million tribesmen would not bear Indian threats any more."
"We would fight along with the army in case of Indian aggression against the country," the leaders said.
The leaders warned that India should stop threatening Pakistan as they are fully capable of replying in a 'befitting manner' in case of war.
They alleged that India is working up propaganda to isolate Pakistan from international support and assistance.
"Indian intelligence agencies have a started propaganda against Pakistan in a bid to isolate it internationally," the newspaper quoted one of the tribal leader, as saying. (ANI)
