Indians in PKR demand share in positions in states

Kuala Lumpur, Jan.1 (ANI): Indians in the People's Justice Party of Malasiya (PKR) have asked their party leaders for more share in state positions.

Member of the Indian liaison committee of the PKR, P.Jenapala, said the demands of the Indian members in the party would be put before party head Anwar Ibrahim.

"We will list down our problems, and we trust that he (Ibrahim) will solve them," The Star quoted Jenapala, as saying.

Replying to queries as to what were the demands of the Indian members, Jenapala said: "The community wanted more positions in the five Pakatan Rakyat states, especially Selangor, as well as positions in government-linked companies."

The Indian members also asked their party leaders to solve the problems of Indians residing in Malaysia. (ANI)
