1 in 6 Brits too stressed to make love

London, December 30 (ANI): One in six Britons is too stressed to make love, reveals a new survey, which found that an astonishing six and a half years of their lives are spend worrying.

In the UK Worry Index of things that bothered Brits in 2008, one in six admitted they romped less when stressed.

The study found that 55 percent were most anxiety-stricken in bed, with one in five men admitting being vexed about their love-making- almost double the figure for girls.

It was further revealed that one in five were drowning their troubles in pints, with the number turning to the bottle rising to 50 percent - just in the last one year.

New figures from website ReallyWorried.com also showed that majority of people spent 2b hours a day, or 34 days a year, hassled in 2008, reports the Daily Star.

The top ten biggest worries owed themselves to financial tension, rocketing energy prices, the recession, debt, unemployment, health, relationships and pensions.

Phillip Hodson, of the British Association for Counselling and Psycho-therapy, said: "It is very alarming to learn just how many people are chronic worriers.

"Worry is the paralys-ing emotion. And it's not only in the mind. The physical side of worry triggers a range of other symptoms from tics to indigestion, and from obsessions to insomnia." (ANI)
