Paparazzi steal pool photographers' thunder in clicking Obama's intimate pics

Washington, December 25 (ANI): Barack Obama's ongoing vacation with his family in Hawaii is apparently proving great for the paparazzi, for many have been successful in capturing the U.S. President-elect's more intimate pictures than the photographers who follow him day in and day out.

Among the pictures to hit Internet are photos showing Obama scattering his grandmother Madelyn Dunham's ashes off the coast of the Pacific.

Nine of the 10 pictures of the president-elect and his family, posted on the website of Just Jared Inc., were clicked at the site where he scattered the remains of his grandmother, while one was taken outside the church where the Obamas held a private memorial service.

One of the pictures shows Obama standing barefoot at Lanai Lookout, wearing kahaki pants with the cuffs rolled up and a blue button-down shirt, tossing flower petals into the ocean.

There is also one picture in which Obama and his sister Maya Soetoro-Ng are scattering their grandmother's ashes together, according to Politico.com.

The online report also suggests that the pool photographers are presently staying away from the Obamas so that the family may enjoy some privacy.

On Sunday, a photographer clicked the pictures of the Obamas outside their beachfront vacation home in Kailua, including a shirtless president-elect and Michelle Obama with their seven-year-old daughter Sasha.

An Obama transition spokesperson did not comment on the more recently photos. (ANI)
