Pak FIA raids forex agency, uncovers 835 mn dollars

Islamabad, Dec 18 (ANI): Prime Minister's Adviser on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik has said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has raided a forex agency and uncovered 835 million dollars.

"The FIA raided another forex agency and seized important record showing that the agent had sent 835 million dollars out of the country," Dawn quoted Malik as saying.

Malik said rupees 200 billion had been sent abroad according to data recovered from computers of forex dealers.

"We are effectively dealing with this issue and the information available is being provided to the house," he said. (ANI)
