Sharif says that Pak Govt. will withdraw cases if he keeps silent over Farah Dogar case
Islamabad, Dec.17 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League (PML)-N leader Nawaz Sharif has said government has offered to withdraw cases filed against him if he maintains his silence over the Farah Dogar issue.
Sharif has urged the government to stop backing Chief Justice Abdul Hamid Dogar.
Talking to the media here, Sharif demanded that Chief Justice Dogar resign and said that judges should be appointed according to formula set in charter of democracy. He said we should go forward rather than backward.
Sharif said that the implementation of charter of democracy is the moral responsibility of President Asif Ali Zardari. He would keep reminding President Zardari his promises.
About Farah Dogar's additional marks issue, Nawaz termed it as biggest injustice of the country and asked Justice Dogar to tender his apology to nation. He said the matter of additional marks would be brought to logical end. (ANI)
