The Brit mum who stocked fridge with sex toy cucumbers while letting kids starve

London, Dec 6 (ANI): A British mother was so sex obsessed that she loaded her fridge with cucumbers to use them as sex toys, while her kids starved for basic meals.

Man-mad Karen Matthews, 33, had seven children, whom she used to rake in handouts.

The lust-crazed scrounger was so strict on her kids that out of fear, they communicated by passing secret notes in which they discussed how best to beg for food.

In the meantime, she also lied to benefits officials, claiming she was bringing up her children alone while living with fishmonger Craig Meehan, 22, who was earning 16,000 pounds a year.

In fact, her money-grabbing pursuits reached the pinnacle when she made a plan to stage her own daughter's kidnapping for cash.

However, Matthews is now kept in solitary confinement since her arrest for kidnap, false imprisonment and perverting the course of justice.

One of her ex-lovers Edward Clayton revealed she was a monster mum who had a kinky secret lurking in her kitchen.

Clayton is a 67-year-old security guard, who lived next door to Matthews, when they hooked up five years ago.

"The kids were brilliant, but she was a lousy mother. She was always palming the children off on somebody else," The Daily star quoted Clayton as saying.

He added: "I was staggered when I looked in her fridge and found it full of cucumbers. But they weren't for eating. She liked using them during sex. There would be no other food in there for the kids. The only thing she'd come home with from the shops was beer. Meanwhile, the kids went hungry."

Another lover, the first man to father one of her kids when he was 16, branded her a real-life Waynetta Slob, claiming that she dumped him and their newborn baby outside a pawn shop in a bust-up over 5 pounds for cigarettes.

"Karen just goes from one bloke to the next, uses them to have a kid, grabs all the benefits going and moves on. That's all she wants out of it," said the man, now 29.

He added: "I was her first victim. She was staying with an uncle of mine and I used to go over there and hang out. It was obvious she fancied me and after a few weeks she took me to bed and that was it. I really thought we had a future together but as soon as she got what she wanted, she was off."

He also agreed that she did not feed her children properly, saying: "I never knew her prepare a single meal from scratch with fresh food for those kids.

"Karen would just lounge on the sofa scoffing pizza and pie and peas while they had to fend for themselves. The house was a total tip whenever I called round and the kids' bedrooms were just a filthy mess.

"She really was a complete slob, no example for any of those kids - unless you happen to see Waynetta Slob as a role model." (ANI)
