Two Thai nationals inside Oberoi hotel
Bangkok, Nov 28 (UNI) Two Thai nationals are among the scores of people believed trapped inside the Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai, the Thai Foreign Ministry said here today.
The two women are among six Thai nationals working in the Oberoi and are safe, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tharit Charungvat said. He declined to give further details to ensure their safety.
One of the six Thai nationals working in the hotel had managed to escape and three others were not in the hotel when the terrorist assault began, the spokesman said.
In addition, about 60 Thai nationals in Mumbai are safe and most have contacted the Thai Consulate in the city.
