Meet appeals factions to maintain peace
Kohima, Nov 28(UNI) A consultative meet between the members of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) and Joint Forum of the Gaon Burahs Federation and Dobhasis Association today appealed to the underground factions to maintain peace and tranquility in Nagaland.
According to a press release, issued by the Chairman of PAC, T M Lotha here, the Consultative Meet was held yesterday to discuss the issue of ongoing 'Unity and Reconciliation' among the various underground factions of the state.
The members had frank deliberations over the subject and were unanimous to work in close coordination for restrengthening the 'Unity and Reconciliation' among the factions, to have an ultimate solution to the Indo-Naga political issue.
They expressed deep appreciation for exercising utmost restraint from further inter-factional clashes and provocations and appealed to maintain the same spirit.
The continuity of such restraints will also facilitate a desired result towards finding the final goal of 'Unity and Reconciliation' that has been initiated by various agencies in the state in order to find a solution to the Naga problem, Mr Lotha added. UNI AS DBY KK DB1719
