Bangladesh strongly condemns bombing incidents in Mumbai

Dhaka, Nov 27 (UNI) Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Advisor Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury today strongly condemned the bombing incidents in Mumbai that cost 83 lives.

''I condemn them as mindless acts of terror. I wish to underscore that terror can serve no purpose,'' he said in a statement here.

Dr Iftekhar said, ''Our hearts are with those so many innocent people, Indians and foreigners, who have been affected by these cowardly bombings.'' The Advisor has also addressed a letter in this regard to External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukharjee.
