Pakistan examining Sarabjit case : Qureshi
New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Pakistan is examining the case of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh and has taken steps to address the concerns of the Indian people and Sarabjit's family.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said here today that his government was examining the case of Sarabjit.
Mr Qureshi was addressing a press conference alongwith External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee after their talks here on various issues.
''We have taken cognizance of your concern. Pakistan has taken steps to address that. We are examining the case,'' the Pakistan Foreign Minister said in reply to a question.
Sarabjit has been in Pakistani jails for many years and is facing gallows for allegedly carrying out bomb explosions in that country.
