Kisan Sabha to raise farmers issue on Nov 28 in UP

Lucknow, Nov 26 (UNI) Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha, affiliated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), today said it would expose the real face of the 'anti-farmer' Uttar Pradesh government in its state-wide agitation on November 28.

Counting issues of manure shortage, black marketing and unclear payments of the sugarcane farmers on finger tips, state convenor of Kisan Sabha and CPI(ML) state committee member Ishwari Prasad Kushwaha said, ''The farmers are now exhausted with the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government in the state.'' The poor farmers only get 'lathis' of police and administration in return of their rights, he charged.

Even the matter of sugarcane price was yet to be resolved between the state government and the court, the leader asserted adding, on November 28, the Kisan Sabha will hold a protest at all districts, tehsils and block headquarters against the dictatorship of the BSP government.
