69 officials suspended for indiscipline in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Nov 26 (UNI) As many as 69 officials were suspended between November 19 and 21 for indiscipline and carelessness during the Chhattisgarh Assembly poll process with 51 of them in Korba district alone, 16 in Raipur and two in Surguja.
Voting took place in two phases on November 14 and 20. Those suspended included two zonal officers, a sub-divisional magistrate, an assistant commissioner, a tahsildar, nine engineers, three principals, some clerks and 'shiksha karmis' (education workers).
