Three boys of a marriage party killed in a road mishap

Davanagere, Nov 23 (UNI) Three boys, including a teen-aged, were killed and 10 others injured when a truck carrying marriage party fell in to a canal near Sulekere, about 40 km from here, today.

Police said that the victims were on their way to Basavapattana in Channagiri taluk from Siddapura village in Kadur taluk in the District to attend a marriage.

While one boy was killed on the spot, other two succumbed to injuries in the Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Sunil (14), Santosh (12) and Sridhar (13).

The injured have been admitted to Channagiri Hospital.
