Student held for questioning in bomb threat case
Malappuram, Nov 23 (UNI) A student of a senior secondary school here was taken into custody today in connection with the bomb threat to the official residence of Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan.
Police said Nizam, a Plus one student and a native of Kottakkal in the district, was taken into the custody for questioning.
An anonmymous caller had informed the Police control room in Kozhikode over phone last evening that a bomb planted at the Cliff house, the official residence of the Chief Minister, would explode this morning.
But the threat turned out to be hoax after bomb disposal and dog squads screened the premises and found nothing, police said.
