Abhinav Bharat to move court on Pragya's behalf
Gwalior, Nov 23 (UNI) The Abhinav Bharat (AB) intends to move court against the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act being invoked against Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur who was arrested in connection with the Malegaon serial blasts.
''A plea will be submitted tomorrow in a Maharashtra court through Advocate I G Khandelwal,'' Abhinav Bharat President Himani Savarkar -- who is late freedom-fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar's daughter-in-law -- told mediapersons here today.
Claiming that the Sadhvi was a member of AB and innocent, she alleged that Maharashtra' Anti-Terrorist Squad apprehended her as part of a conspiracy.
''The Sadhvi and the Indian Army's Lieutenant-Colonel Shrikant Prasad Purohit are being harassed by the ATS,'' Ms Savarkar added.
