Railways to purchase more land of Rohtas Group of Industries: Lalu
Dehri-on-Sone, Nov 22 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today said the railways had decided to purchase the rest of land of Rohtas Group of Industries for development of the proposed bogie construction factory at Dalmia Nagar.
After laying the foundation of the factory, Mr Prasad said the railways had already purchased 210 acres of the 3500 acres of land of Rohtas Group of Industries for the purpose. '' When I was Chief Minister of Bihar, serious efforts were made to revive the Rohtas Industries but it could not yeild result'', he added.
''The railways has decided to purchase the rest of 3290 acres of land of Rohtas Group of Industries at Dalmia Nagar but formal announcement can not be made as model code of conduct has been enforced in Delhi'', Mr Prasad maintained.
Mr Prasad alleged that Nitish Kumar government had failed on all fronts and was engaged in misleading people by making tall claims. Taking pot-shot on Mr Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for branding him as fuse bulb, Mr Prasad said it was for the people to decide who was the fuse bulb.
