Unemployed husband kills teenage wife

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) A 19-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her unemployed husband in Nabi Karim area of Central Delhi for nagging him to get himself a job.

Kavita was allegedly stabbed close to her house in Gali No 3 by her husband Shashi, who was unemployed for some time and would simply freak out, according to sources.

Kavita, who would keep persuading him to do some work, had even initiated divorce proceedings when all her pleas failed.

Today, after the couple had a tiff, Shashi allegely flew into a rage and stabbed her.

The couple had been married for nearly two-and-a-half years and have a one-and-half-year-old child, police added.
