Wockhardt hospital launches e-one emergency service

Nashik, Nov 20 (UNI) Wockhardt Hospital Limited, the leading cardiac care hospital in india, today announced the launch of E-ONE emergency services--the city's first state-of-the-art moving intensive care unit.

At a ceremony, city IPS special inspector general of police Surya Prakash Gupta in the presence of Dr Vikram Raghuvanshi, chief operating officer Wockhardt Hospitals, and dignitaries from various industries and doctors, flagged off the first emergency service in the city. The Citizens will now have instant state of the art emergency care at their fingertips, they have to dial 6624100 for any emergencies.

The trained doctor in this service is in constant touch with the super specialists in the hospital. This ensures that no time is lost and immediate steps of treatment are already in motion even before the victim reached the hospital.

''This is a great initiative by Wockhardt Hospitals. Nowadays a lot of accident victims and patients die on the way to hospital due to lack of immediate and proper treatment. I think this service, a moving intensive care unit, is perhaps the only solution to this crisis'' Mr Gupta said on the occasion.
