Scribe killed in road accident, another critically injured
Murshidabad, Nov 20 (UNI) A journalist was killed while his companion was seriously injured when their motorbike collided head-on with a bus at Gameda area under Kandi police station in this district today.
Police said Milan Mandal(48), a reporter with Bengali TV news channel 'Star Ananda', was killed on the spot while Shishir Maity of vernacular daily 'Bartaman', was admitted to Behrampore hospital in a critical condition.
Both were on way to Belghoria in North 24 Parganas from Behrampore to cover an accident that occurred yesterday.
