One killed, two injured due to electrocution
Kadapa, Nov 20 (UNI) One person was killed and two others suffered burn injuries due to electrocution during the ''Praja Ankitha Yatra'' being undertaken by Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) founder leader Chiranjeevi at Mydukur in Kadapa district here today.
According to police, the victim Dastagiri(40) came into contact with a live wire while watching the roadshow.
The victim died on the way to hospital. The two injured people were admitted to a local hospital.
Mr Chiranjeevi expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured to support the family members of the deceased. He announced an exgratia of Rs one lakh each to the family members of the deceased.
