IVRI students call indefinite strike

Bareilly, Nov 19 (UNI) The PhD students of renowned Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izzatnagar, today went on an indefinite hunger strike here.

The IVRI presently comes under the aegis of Indian Agricultural Research Institute, but the students were agitating for a separate set-up of Veterinary Research Council for the institute, sources said.
