Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti gherao Raj Bhavan

Ranchi, Nov 17 (UNI) The Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti today gheraoed Jharkhand Raj Bhavan for nearly four hours here, protesting atrocities against Hindi -speaking people from the state, besides Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Mumbai.

The Samiti also handed over a memorandum to President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, expressing their concern over the incident.

The agitators, led by president Uday Sankar Ojha, took out a rally before converging at Elbart Ekka Chowk.

Then they proceeded towards the Raj Bhavan and reached almost its main gate braving tight security.

The agitators squtted in front of the gate and later a delegation handed over the memorandum to Raj Bhavan official due to absence of Governor Syed Sibtey Razi.
